MacWorld has reviewed Script Debugger 3.0.1 and awarded the upgrade 4.5 mice!

Apple's Mac OS 10.1.2 Update and December 2001 Dev Tools releases break Script Debugger 3 December 8, 2001
The Mac OS 10.1.2 Update and the December 2001 Dev Tools, which includes AppleScript Studio, releases both install AppleScript version 1.8.1 which contains bugs that cause Script Debugger 3.0 and 3.0.1 to crash. We are working with Apple to try and develop a solution to this problem. Details will be posted to the SD-talk mailing list as they become available.

XML-RPC Lib 1.0d8 Released  November 20, 2001
Version 1.0d8 is compatible with the www.osaxen.com Web Service.

XML Tools 2.3.2 Released  November 20, 2001
Version 2.3.2 of the XML Tools scripting addition is now available for download. This is a bug fix release that allows whitespace before the initial <?xml ... ?> element and addresses problems with the generate XML command.

We are pleased to announce the release of Script Debugger 3.0.1. This free update addresses issues introduced by the final release version of Mac OS X 10.1 and other items that came to light following the initial release of Script Debugger 3.0.

OSAXen Fixer for REALbasic Released  September 1, 2001
OSAXen Fixer allows REALbasic applications to invoke Scripting Additions on Mac OS X systems without the aid of AppleScript.

XML Tools 2.3 Released  August 24, 2001
Version 2.3 of the XML Tools scripting addition is now available for download. An updated version of the XML-RPC lib has also been released which takes advantage of bug fixes in XML Tools 2.3.

Macscript.com releases commercial AppleScript library  June 13, 2001
The Macscript.com Library features over 110 functions written natively in AppleScript in six suites: file functions, general functions, list functions, math functions, process functions, and string functions. Wherever possible, these functions have been written without the use of even the standard scripting additions, with many functions dramatically outperforming their scripting addition equivalents by more than 100 times.

The Macscript.com Library utilizes Script Debugger 2.0's Library integration and Clippings palette features to make it simple for Script Debugger users to incorporate the library into their scripts.

We are pleased to announce the release of Script Debugger 2.0.5. This free update is available for all previous versions of Script Debugger 2.0. The update improves performance and addresses some other issues that have come to light since the 2.0.4 update.

We are pleased to announce the release of Script Debugger 2.0.4. This free update is available for all previous versions of Script Debugger 2.0. The update addresses a series of issues that have come to light since the release of Script Debugger 2.0.3 and Mac OS 9.1 and introduces external debugger compatibility with DTI's FaceSpan, markers and a number of other new features. If you are using Mac OS 9.1, this update is highly recommended.

Script Debugger 2.0 Wins 2000 Macworld Editors' Choice Award (Eddy) for Best Development Software  January 8, 2001
Script Debugger 2.0 received the Macworld Eddy for Best Development Software from the editors of Macworld magazine. The Eddy was awarded at a ceremony at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art on Monday, January 8, 2001. Details of the awards will appear in the March 2001 issue of Macworld Magazine and on the Macworld Magazine Web site.
