Script Debugger 3.0 Announced as MacUser Awards 2002 Nominee, October 21, 2002
Script Debugger 3.0 has been shortlisted for the MacUser Awards 2002 in the Software 'Utility and Enabling' category. We share the honor with Apple's AppleScript Studio and Roxio's Toast With Jam. AppleScript Pro Session Nov. 4-8 in New Orleans,October 8, 2002
Ray Robertson and Shane Stanley are again teaming up to offer a five-day training event suited for both novice and seasoned scripters alike. Emphasis will be on practical scripting spanning a wide range of applications such as InDesign, QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator, FileMaker, and BBEdit. There will be a special focus on what's new with AppleScript in Mac OS X v10.2.

Late Night Software Ltd. Releases XSLT Tools 1.0b1, September 29, 2002
We are pleased to announce the release of XSLT Tools 1.0b1. The XSLT Tools AppleScript Scripting Addition allows AppleScript to apply XSLT transformations to XML data and to use XPath expressions to extract information information from XML data. XSLT Tools also allows you to extend the XSLT processor using AppleScript functions.

Late Night Software Ltd. Releases Script Debugger 3.0.4, August 23 , 2002
We are pleased to announce the release of Script Debugger 3.0.4. Among other things this free update corrects compatibility problems with Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). Please see the release notes for full list of changes for Mac OS X and Classic Mac OS systems.

IMPORTANT: Script Debugger 3 requires AppleScript 1.8.3 to operate correctly on Mac OS X 10.1.2 or later systems.

We are pleased to announce the release of Script Debugger 3.0.3. This free update corrects a problem in Script Debugger's scripting interface, introduced in the recent Script Debugger 3.0.2 update, that rendered many of the scripts in the Scripts menu and Scripts palette window inoperable.

TECSoft Conducts AppleScript for Success Seminar, March 14, 2002
TECSoft is conducting an AppleScript for Success Seminar in 9 cities across the US and Canada from March 11th to May 14th, 2002. The half-day seminars run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. and will take place at Apple Computer's North American Market Centers.

Scripting Matters Inc. Offers New AppleScript Pro Sessions 2002, March 12, 2002
Shane Stanley and Ray Robertson will be leading AppleScript Pro Sessions, this time in beautiful Monterey, California, May 13-17, 2002. Along with the new venue, they have expanded the course by a day to allow more in-depth coverage of AppleScript. The courses will follow the successful formula used last year - daily sessions, followed by bonus demonstrations of relevant software, plus the ever-popular door prize drawings. We will also feature some very special guests, including Mark Alldritt of Late Night Software.

Scripting Matters Inc. Offers New Series of AppleScript Automation Seminars, January 1, 2002
Scripting Matters is offering a series of AppleScript Automation Seminars. The first seminar begins on January 17th in Seattle. Two sessions are offered:

Automating Your Mac With AppleScript: This session helps you to get started with AppleScript and to find out about resources that are available for beginners and the mid-level scripters. Featured products include OS X, the Finder, Outlook Express, iTunes, QuarkXPress, FileMaker Pro, and many other programs.

Automating Publishing in InDesign and QuarkXPress: Learn some advanced tips and tricks for working with longer documents and get information about powerful XTensions and Plug-ins that will automatically create documents and update them easily for repeat publication. The seminar also covers the basics of using AppleScript with page layout programs, as well as advanced techniques for sophisticated search and replace and database publishing.
